Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow! The numbers are in. As of February 13, 2012, Happy Cats Haven has taken in 72 cats and kittens. We’ve adopted out 36 of them and the rest are safely in the shelter or in fosters. That means we’ve had 3 or 4 adoptions a week, so we’re happy about that. More importantly, the cats and kittens who’ve found their forever homes are happy too!
If you’re looking for your new best friend, please consider these cats and kittens. They’ve either made friends here and would likely adjust well in your home too or came here with a close relationship. Matching cats can sometimes be a challenge and these sweeties take the guesswork out.
Pumpkin and Roxy
These ladies moved into the office when we opened and started timesharing. They take turns on various sleeping areas, share food and water nicely and are always ready to help anyone who sits down to work. Even though Roxy and Pumpkin are technically seniors at 12, they still have many good years left. They’re still very playful and ready to give you some love!
Kallie & Karmel
Still technically teenagers at 10 months, Kallie and Karmel are siblings and good friends. They love to play and chase around in Colony 3, not only with each other but with their friends Angel and Freddy. They’re both sweet and loving and you won’t find a more beautiful pair of cats, with Karmel’s beautiful patched orange tabby coat and Kallie’s chinchilla soft calico one. Plus, when you adopt one you get their sibling for half off.
Thumpkin and Trixie
Thumpkin the Manx is a big ol’ boy and Trixie is a beautiful American Shorthair-mix girl. They were raised together and now need to find a new home because their person is moving out of state. Thumpkin is the extrovert to Trixie’s wallflower, but they both are loving, sweet cats who would do well if they could be adopted together. As usual, if you adopt one, you can have their lifelong friend for half price. How sweet is that!
