That dapper panther boy with the devastating green eyes and sexy bow tie? Yeah, that’s me. Hamilton. Friends call me “Hamm” or “Hammy”. Please scroll down for more photos and a video!

I’m a budding Aristocat. That means I looooove people, but for me, furry companionship is totally overrated. At 13 years young, I’m ready for some much deserved “me” time. If you promise to make me your One and Only I’ll make it so worth your while with purrs and head bonks.

My foster says while I do warm up quickly to new folks of all ages, shapes, etc., I am still working through some anxious behaviors related to losing my longtime home and family. I need someone (or someones) who will give me lots of love while making sure I feel safe in the face of new experiences.

Besides the recent emotional trauma, my vet friends helped me realize I have conditions where I feel better with a diet of rabbit based foods and probiotics mixed in daily with my wet food. My coat and energy have gotten so much better since then, so continuing to feed me high quality, lower fat foods should keep me healthy. I was also declawed, so I need a family willing to keep me healthy and work with a vet to manage my senior challenges.

I’m not really a lap kind of guy and I prefer to get around on my own four paws. Still, I love to hang out with my people, sitting next to you on my favorite cat tree (which comes with me) or couch. I will tolerate being carried when needed, but you know we Aristocats prefer to be treated respectfully!

I’m happy to chill with you while you do your own thing, as long as you throw the occasional soft toy high in the air for me. And when you bust out the wand toy, especially the one with the fuzzy squirrel tail attachment I get moving like a kitten!

Even though I’m declawed I live for the good stretch and paw massage that come with a vertical scratcher. And though I should never, ever be outside unattended (the whole declawed thing), I have shown potential with a wearing a harness. Maybe with training on my terms (I’m super food motivated) there could be a future with leashed walks in a quiet backyard?

I may have some special needs, but I’m a special dude and well worth the extra effort. I can be adopted for $60, which includes my neuter, microchip, vaccinations, my complete veterinary workup, 3 months worth of my special food and litter plus a well-kitty checkup and my favorite cat perch.

You can tap here to fill out an Adoption Application. Someone should get back to you within 48 hours after you send it in. I have a lot of love to give, so if you think you could give me the same, then please contact Happy Cats and let’s arrange a meet!
