Allergies & cats
My son has had his cat Rusty since he was a toddler. Suddenly, my son has developed severe allergies to his cat. Rusty is an important part of our family. Is there anything we can do to help our son and keep Rusty too?
Many of the volunteers at Happy Cats Haven have seasonal allergies, including allergies to cats. happy cat tales: Sweet Dee & Charlie
Sweet Dee and Charlie were found at a feral colony where their mom had brought them to the caretaker.
At about 5 months old, these siblings were near the end of their socializing window. They were recovering in our isolation area (overflowing because of the Black Forest Fire intakes) when Kenny came to visit.
Kenny had been involved in the Manitou Flood, so he had been homeless too. Sweet Dee snuggled into his hand, Charlie purred his little whiskers off and it was love at first sight.
Still a little shy, they are getting more used to strangers. They are Kenny's constant companions, making his new house a home. You can read more about them here.
